Transform Your Outdoors with Custom Concrete Patios – Where Quality Meets Craftsmanship

Concrete

Concrete patios are durable, versatile, and stylish, offering long-lasting outdoor enjoyment with minimal maintenance.

Digging and Preparing the Site

Mark the Area: Outline the patio area with stakes and string or spray paint.

Excavate: Dig to a depth of 6–8 inches to allow for the concrete slab and a gravel base.

Prepare the Base: Add a 4–6 inch layer of compacted gravel for drainage and stability.

Formwork: Install wooden or metal forms around the perimeter to shape the patio and hold the concrete.

Mix the Concrete: Prepare the concrete mix according to the manufacturer’s instructions, or have ready-mixed concrete delivered.

Pour: Evenly pour the concrete into the forms, starting at one corner and working outward.

Spread and Level: Use a rake or shovel to distribute the concrete, and a screed board to level the surface.

Finishing the Concrete

Cure and Seal: Allow the concrete to cure for at least 24–48 hours

Smooth the Surface: Use a bull float to smooth and compact the concrete, removing air pockets.

Add Texture: Apply a broom finish for slip resistance, or use stamping tools for decorative patterns.
